Event Chairman and former Allegheny County Chief Executive Jim Roddey says this picnic is a way to show appreciation.

“The picnic in the park is an old fashion family outing that will delight young and old. It is our opportunity to thank our many supporters and to share a wonderful day of fun and entertainment.”

After the picnic, with special seating, guests are welcome to stay and hear a River City Brass Band evening performance at 7:30 p.m. This free concert is presented by the County of Allegheny Parks Department.
